Buffalo Bolts & T-nut Connectors

Buffalo Bolts

A product (originally developed under our own patent) offering a range of different bolt head shapes insert moulded onto nylon or polypropylene threaded rod, resulting in a stronger bolt than a conventional moulded bolt and much less expensive than machining from bar.

Material

Manufactured from nylon, one of the strongest grades of engineering plastic. Polypropylene bolts also available in sizes M8-M16 in certain head shapes – please contact our Sales Team for details.

Buffalo Hexagon Bolts - M8, M10, M12, M16, M20
Buffalo Eye Bolts - M12
Buffalo Cheese and Wing Head Bolts - M10, M12
Buffalo Coach Bolts - M10, M12

*M16 Panel Bolt does not have plain shank below the head.

T-nut Connectors

A strong connecting fastener to complement the range of nylon threaded rod and Buffalo bolts, available in a range of head styles, sizes and colours.

Material

Manufactured from nylon 6.6, one of the strongest grades of engineering plastic.

Tightening and Use of Bolts and T-nuts

Care should be taken not to overtighten nuts when used with
thermoplastic Buffalo bolts.

FASTENERS SHOULD BE TIGHTENED BY HAND AND GIVEN A HALF TURN WITH A SPANNER.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF STEEL PRODUCTS WITH
THERMOPLASTIC BUFFALO BOLTS OR T-NUTS.
