Custom Injection Mouldings
Since the start of Bluemay in 1973, the world of injection moulding has changed dramatically. Computer controlled moulding machines, robotic equipment, new materials – each, in their way, has contributed to our ability to achieve standards of moulding and delivery times undreamt of just a few years ago.
Thanks to a continuing programme of investment in equipment and, equally importantly, in the people who use that equipment, we are able to offer the benefits of this production revolution to our customers in the form of top quality at competitive prices.
Tool Design and Manufacture
From your idea or drawing, Bluemay can help you see your project through from concept to finished component, with tooling design and drawing, manufacture of mould tools and full production of the end product part of the service of customer care offered by our experienced team in conjunction with local specialist toolmakers.
Tool Maintenance
Our strict tool maintenance routines ensure minimum wear to your tooling.
Materials
It is Bluemay policy that only virgin polymers be used in the production of our engineering mouldings. This ensures that our high standards of product quality are never compromised by the use of reground material.
All raw materials are sourced from select suppliers, with whom we have a long-standing and successful relationship.
Initially specialising in polyamides (including many types of filled nylons), our expertise has inevitably widened to include many other materials such as ABS, Acetal, Polyproylene, Styrenes and reinforced Partial Aromatic Polyamide. Please click on the Materials link to see a full list.
Bluemay maintains high stocks of many materials while other, less common materials are available within hours from our approved suppliers. In addition, our purchasing power with our suppliers can result in a lower material content price.
